Rnwl gives users everything they need to manage their insurance right at their fingertips when they need it. It is beginning with car insurance, but in the future will expand to other types of insurance.

The team approached me to set up the foundations for their mobile app. I decided to use Expo as it provided a lot of the functionality they required and allowed their team of Windows and Linux developers to be able to easily work on the app. Expo uses React Native under-the-hood, so it has all the same cross-platform advantages.

The initial version of the app was completed within two weeks and provided the foundations for their team to expand on. Since then, I have continued work with their team to add new features such as support for multiple cars and breakdown assistance.

Rnwl was then brought by GoCompare and rebranded as Renewal: Your Insurance Sorted. They continue to use the app structure set up by be with an internal development team.
